Breathe & Balance: Clinical Pilates for Wellbeing
One of the greatest benefits of pilates is the quieting and focusing of the mind and bringing awareness into the body. Movement is always co-ordinated with breathing in pilates, and this brings quality of mindfulness and flow to all that we do in the class. The pilates based exercises in this workshop are designed by our osteopath to:
- Focus the mind
- Quiet and relax the mind
- Stretch the ribcage and increase the space for breathing
- Gently mobilise the spine, hips and pelvis
- Improve core/postural strength
- Improve body awareness
