Clinical Barre for Everybody!
Barre is a dynamic and fun way to move your body towards health. It takes elements of traditional Ballet barre and Pilates repertoire and combines these elements with low-impact, sometimes high intensity cardiovascular fitness and functional training to help you move better and feel better.
S3 barre is the only barre workout in the world designed and choreographed by a physiotherapist.
It is a full body workout where you will gain strength and endurance from pilates and dance movements, you'll leave feeling lengthened, strong and like you've worked! It is pilates at the barre!
The class is open level and suitable for pregnancy.
Meet our Teacher, Janelle Maxfield:
Janelle is a qualified Barre, PT, Mat and Reformer Pilates instructor with a passion for sharing her love of safe movement with others. Janelle also has a Bachelor of Applied Science (Phyisical Education) and works as a Physical Education and Health teacher. With a background in dance she has always loved both movement and music and loves putting them together in a safe and intense barre class!
Janelle was initially drawn to pilates and then barre as a way back to exercise after suffering a number of long term injuries, she is now passionate about sharing the fun of barre with others where she will challenge you to feel the burn whilst still being able to walk the next day!
