Barre is a dynamic and fun way to move your body towards health. It takes elements of traditional Ballet barre and Pilates repertoire and combines these elements with low-impact, sometimes high intensity cardiovascular fitness and functional training to help you move better and feel better.
Barre - General / Clinical and Prenatal Barre (suitable for Pregnancy)
A contemporary take on a traditional classical ballet barre with an emphasis on postural alignment and efficient breathing. The barre is used for pushing, pulling and balancing to help enhance muscular strength, endurance, balance and cardio respiratory fitness. The class is open level and suitable for pregnancy.
Barre - Fitness
A fun and energetic class incorporating elements of pilates, yoga and ballet barre conditioning, giving you a full body workout with an emphasis on form and alignment. This flowing class will improve your flexibility and posture as well as strengthen and tone your muscles while you get your body moving.
Barre for Mums and Bubs
As our clinical Barre, this class is centred around the Barre with an emphasis on postural alignment and efficient breathing. Exercises support a new mum's postural alignment, flexibility and re-build strength post pregnancy. Children can be incorporated into the class, or left to play. Suitable for mums with children under 5 years.
