Osteopathic care focuses on promoting health in the body, through the use of non-invasive and natural manual therapy techniques.
Osteopaths in Australia complete a minimum of 5 years' university training and studies in anatomy, pathology, physiology, general medical diagnosis, and osteopathic techniques. They are registered with the government as osteopathic practitioners.
Although the name of our clinic 'Growing Bones' suggests we are a children's clinic, we provide treatment across the lifespan. Our goal is to help each individual reach their full potential by providing quality osteopathic treatment, home exercise prescription, lifestyle and postural advice.
Although osteopaths direct treat the body, our focus is much more expansive, as we acknowledge the effect a healthy and pain free physical body has on improved mood, social relationships, self-esteem and self-empowerment.
