Ashleigh graduated from Unitec, New Zealand with a Bachelor of Applied Science in Human Biology, and a Masters in Osteopathy in 2012. Since graduating Ashleigh has worked in busy osteopathic and multidisciplinary clinics in Auckland, Melbourne, and Singapore. She has recently relocated to Melbourne with her husband and two young children.
Ashleigh enjoys treating all ages and conditions, however, has a passion and specialty in treatment during pregnancy and of infants and young children. Over her years of practice, she has completed many postgraduate courses in pregnancy and pediatrics and has worked alongside other experienced pediatric osteopaths, physiotherapists, dentists, naturopaths, lactation consultants, and midwives amongst others. Within pediatrics she has a subspecialty for latching and feeding issues in babies and toddlers, she became particularly interested in this after having her own breastfeeding issues after the birth of her first son. Ashleigh can also assist with pre and post frenectomy care. In most sessions she will treat but also prescribe home exercises and lifestyle advice for you to do with your children to help with optimal recovery and health.
Ashleigh is passionate about osteopathy in promoting the ultimate health for the whole family. She uses a variety of structural, visceral and cranial techniques dependent on what works best for the individual she is treating at the time.
